Christianity The sinful city

The caption on a certain series of verses in my bible actually says Zion, the sinful city.

Isa 1:21
How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

Isa 1:22
Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:

Isa 1:23
Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

What I want to say I am having a hard time finding the exact words to use to convey exactly and perfectly what I mean. I feel that it has reached a stage in my thought process that I must say it even if it is imperfectly said.

Mammon!

Creflo Dollar is saying that if you don't have money then you are not Godly or if you are not Godly then you don't have money.

Jesus had no material possessions. The Apostles had no money, so it is from a self centered spirit that any Christian professes that mammon is the center of God.

The truth is a man has money for the purposes of God but is not the be all end all indicator of blessings from God. Man needs to give God the credit for the money or lack of it and worship and praise him anyway.

If you say that a man has money and therefore he must be of the Kingdom of Heaven you miss the bulls eye(sin). If you say that a man does not have money therefore he must be of the Kingdom of Heaven then you miss the bulls eye(sin). These are not outward indicators that man may use as a bases to judge whether a man is a member of the Kingdom of Heaven or not.

Jesus said: Mar 12:43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:

You say that you cast 10% of your Gross into Gods tray? Jesus says that your still less than the poor old woman who gave all she had. In fact I reiterate; She gave more in the one little mite than everything every rich man ever gave, EVER! No rich man who stayed rich ever gave all in an offering plate.

You want to be blessed and to really discover what Jesus meant by this statement? Do you want to really discover that treasure in that Field?

Mat 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

I found that treasure in that proverbial Field but I didn't buy into that field. I bought it. In 1996 I sold all of my stuff that God told me to and then some and bought that field. Anything less than this is simply a compromise with this world.

Compromising with this world is like this parable: You have 3 glasses one full of clear water and one full of mud and one empty; you want to share some with another person; so you take the clear water and pour part in the 3rd glass and the mud and pour part in the 3rd glass also and give it to the other person.

The question I have to ask is: why did you give this other person a muddy drink?

The answer is: Because you sinned!

One more thing stop asking people (ie. me) to share muddy water with people. If you want to drink muddy water then drink your liquid dirt; go ahead, but don't ask me to. Also don't get pissy with me about sharing clear water as well.

There is no money in Heaven. There is no spirit of money in Heaven. There is no pride nor the spirit of pride in Heaven. Why would you people insist upon hanging on to the compromise beliefs to the great detriment of our nation and the world. The worship of money is the greatest human excuse our nation is criticized and hated for and the the critics are not wrong.

One day a person with money or success may be tested whether or not he is serious or not about serving God when God tells him to give up what he worships or not. The surprise is that most men do not know that he is worshipping the things he will be asked to give up. If he gives them up then he will receive more and be more blessed. If he will not then it will be taken away.

I know of these things because you see, I have been there on both sides of the coin. I speak from the blessing of experience. I can say both that I am an example of what to do and what not to do. I can say because I am supposed to. The fact is I have to say.

If I am obsessed then it is an obsession to be what Jesus wants me to be and that includes no compromise with this world.

The world says but you need money. 'No'- I don't. I need money if I want
G5304
ὑστέρησις
husterēsis
hoos-ter'-ay-sis
From G5302; a falling short, that is, (specifically) penury: - want..

Jesus has the last word in this matter. Get it or don't! Either way don't criticize me nor judge me for not caring if I have or any other man has money nor influence or not. In the end it is most likely that most of the rich will be least in the Kingdom of Heaven and the little old poor widows and Lazarus's will be greatest.

Jesus says:
Mt 6:1
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven
Mt 6:2

Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Mt 6:3

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
Mt 6:4

That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

Mt 6:5

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Mt 6:6

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Mt 6:7

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Mt 6:8

Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Mt 6:9

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Mt 6:10

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Mt 6:11

Give us this day our daily bread.

Mt 6:12

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Mt 6:13

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Mt 6:14

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Mt 6:15

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Mt 6:16

Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Mt 6:17

But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

Mt 6:18

That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Mt 6:19

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Mt 6:20

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Mt 6:21

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Mt 6:22

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

Mt 6:23

But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Mt 6:24

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Mt 6:25

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Mt 6:26

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Mt 6:27

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

Mt 6:28

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

Mt 6:29

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Mt 6:30

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Mt 6:31

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

Mt 6:32

(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Mt 6:33

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Mt 6:34

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
